On the 50th anniversary of the death of Jean Sibelius, baritone Jorma Hynninen and pianist Ilka Paananen, cellist Tuomas Ylinen and the string quartet Meta4 present Sibelius' music in celebration of his life. On the 50th anniversary of the death of Jean Sibelius, Jorma Hynninen, one of Finland’s most celebrated singers is joined by pianist Ilkka Paananen, Tuomas Ylinen, principal cellist of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, and the string quartet Meta4, first prize winner of the 2004 International Shostakovich Competition and the 2007 International Joseph Haydn competition.
